Big bangers

Big Bangers is an ongoing project mixing film, photography and sculpture. It is based on “Big Bangers”, an amateur practice derived from the autocross implying the destruction of cars, popular in the North of France, Belgium and the United Kingdom. The beauty of the gesture and the global philosophy rely on the destruction of commonly used cars, smashing and crumpling engines and bodies. An aesthetic of destruction referred to as “auto sculpture” in the local lingo.
