In Bangladesh, penal code 377 dating back to 1860 criminalizes sexual activities “against the order of nature” arguably including homosexual acts. The law has been repealed in the UK. While it is not enforced, it still exists in Bangladesh. The law is regularly used to harass LGBT people.
