The accumulated images of my unique series, La Pesanteur et la Grâce, (« Gravity and Grace »), form a relentlessly constructed and deconstructed set. My photographs oscillate between their potential autonomy and their necessary inscription in a movement that constantly redefines their place. An ambivalence at the heart of my relation to the model and the decor: an identity that becomes image, anonymous. The display of some of my photographs filed in albums is as much a personal means of classification than a way to reveal the coexisting tensions in my work.
