In early 2015, I began a series of projects that deal with the paradoxical nature of human empathy and moral ethics. Fascinated by our distinctly human ability to unconsciously waver between brief moments of sincere concern and an altogether lack of action, I have used the motif of “water” as the overarching theme for my project. This work will comprise a series of panels and individual works that emphasize a psychological or emotional transformation through various site-specific projects. Some topics will be depicted in a more detailed and focused manner, while others will appear as drops of stranded information for the viewer to absorb.
